Sphero Rolls Out Special Edition BB-8
Boulder-based robotic ball maker Sphero said on Thursday that it has released a new, special edition of its popular Star Wars BB-8 robot. Sphero said the new Special Edition BB-8 includes a new gesture-sensitive "Force Band" which lets you control BB-8 without a smartphone, and runs for 60 minutes on a single charge. Sphero also said the new BB-8 show "the wear and tear of Resistance missions, straight from the sands of Jakku."
