SolidFire Links With Cloud Infrastructure Firms
Boulder-based solid state storage systems provider SolidFire has allied itself with a number of cloud-based software and services firm today, saying it has linked with Arista Networks, Canonical, Citrix, OnApp, OpenStack, Tier 3 and VMware. The company said the partnerships and integration cover using its technology in cloud infrastructure. Each of the various providers have either certified or integrated their offerings with SolidFire's solid state disk. SolidFire--as well as many other solid state storage firms--have been seeing a large amount of interest in their products due to the need for high performance I/O in virtualized and cloud systems.
