Coalfire, the Louisville, Colorado-based provider of information technology auditing and compliance services, said Monday that it has set up a new VMware compliance lab in its Seattle office. The firm said the lab will focus on design, test, and promotion of IT security best practices and audit guidelines for virtualized computing environments. The company said it will provide testing around products built on VMware's reference architecture, including products from EMC, RSA, HP, Symantec, McAfee and LogRhythm.
