Domo Snags Another Ex-Omniture Exec
Domo, the software-as-a-service, business intelligence startup headed by Omniture co-founder Josh James, is pulling in more ex-Omniture talent this morning, saying it has added Steve Wellen as its new Chief Operating Officer. Wellen, who was most recently Vice President of Worldwide Client Services at Adobe Systems, joined Adobe when it acquired Omniture. Wellen has also previously served at SAP, Oracle, and Siebel. Domo is backed by a healthy, $63M in venture funding, from such investors as Benchmark Capital, IVP, Andreessen Horowitz, Ron Conway and David Lee of SV Angel, and Hummer Winblad. The Domo hire comes just two weeks after Adobe and Omniture settled a lawsuit over Domo's hiring of multiple, former Omniture executives and employees.
