Liberty Global Buys Puerto Rico Firm
Englewood, Colorado-based Liberty Global said Tuesday that it has entered into a deal to acquire Puerto Rico cable company OneLink, in a deal worth $585M. The firm said it is buying OneLink in conjunction with investment funds from Searchlight Capital Partners. LIberty Global said OneLink serves approximately 262,500 homes. 60 percent of the new firm will be owned by Liberty Global, and 40 percent by SEarchlight.
