SparkFun Set For Robot Vehicle Competition Saturday
Boulder-based SparkFun, the online retailer of electronics parts for hobbyists, is gearing up for its fourth annual autonomous vehicle competition on Saturday. The firm said the Autonomous Vehicle Competition (AVC) event will pit teams with home-built vehicles to circumnavigate the company's bulidling, with a grand prize of $1,000 to the winner. The firm said it has 50 teams entered into the competition for tomorrow. SparkFun sells and promotes lots of robot related kits and components, and the firm says the competition is because "We like robots. A lot."
