Orbotix Rolls Into Brookstone
In what looks to be the first, major distribution deal for Boulder-based Orbotix and its Sphero robotic ball, the company said today that it will begine rolling out to Brookstone, the gadget-filled retail store and catalog chain. Orbotix told its users that the Sphero will be launching at Brookstone's retail locations, and that it will be promoting the device with free t-shirts, and a drawing to win a new iPad or Android tablet. Orbotix did not say when the Sphero will show up in Brookstone, but did tell users that this is a "huge opportunity for Sphero to go big."
