Draper, Utah-based StorageCraft has tied with Intel, in a partnership to provider a backup and recovery appliance based on Intel's Hybrid Cloud platform. The two firms announced the partnership earlier this week. Intel said its Backup & Recovery appliance, powered by StorageCraft, will be available as part of the Intel AppUp Small Business Service. The appliance is aimed at small businesses. The two said Intel will offer the appliance to its resellers. StorageCraft's software supports such features as snapshot and full backups, supporting system virtualization, system recovery, and file and folder recovery. Intel will offer up the Backup & Recovery appliance on a monthly subscription basis.
