Ancestry.com Bolsters Birth, Marriage, and Death Records
Provo, Utah-based Ancestry.com, which provides online family history and genealogy resources, said this week that it has added more than 50 million birth, marriage, and death records to its collection. The company said the records come from 53 new historical collections, and date back to the 1600's. The records come from partnerships with state and local archives, county offices and newspapers. The new data is available to the firm's current and new subscribers.
