U of U Appoints USTAR Assistant Professor
The University of Utah said this week that it has appointed Miriah Meyer as a USTAR assistant professor of computer science. Meyer joins the University of Utah's Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute. The SCI Insitute is focused on solving problems in biomedicine, science, and engineering using computation. Meyer was most recentlya postdoc at Harvard University. USTAR is the state of Utah's effort to fund and encourage economic activity in the state; The University of Utah receives annual funding from USTAR to recruit world class researchers to the school.
