Coalfire Systems Gets $5M For Compliance Software
Louisville, Colorado-based Coalfire Systems said this morning that it has raised $5M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Baird Venture Partners. The company, which develops IT audit and compliance management services to small and mid-sized businesses, said it will use the funding to support growth initiatives and development of its platform. Coalfire is headed by Rick Dakin. As part of the funding, Jim Pavlik and Benedict Rocchio of Baird will join the firm's board.
