ViaWest Buys SingleEdge
Denver-based ViaWest, a provider of colocation and managed services, announced this morning that it has acquired Salt Lake City-based SingleEdge, a colocation and managed services firm. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. ViaWest said the buy gives its a seventh data center in Salt Lake, and increases its total space in the greater Salt Lake City area to 120,000 square feet of raised floor space. As part of the acquisition, 14 employees join viaWest from SingleEdge, including President Chris Call. The deal also included 14,700 square feet of data center facility at SingleEdge.
