ViaWest Plans Data Center In Minneapolis
Denver-based colocation provider ViaWest said today that it is building a new data center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to ViaWest, it has acquired 28 acres of land in Minneapolis where it will build a Tier IV certified data center. ViaWest said the new location will offer premium wholesale and retail colocation, managed and cloud services. ViaWest said it expects to start construction of its 150,000 square foot facility in Minneapolis, to allow it to start operations in the first quarter of 2014.
