Open Angel Forum Returns To Boulder
The Open Angel Forum, a national angel investment group, is returning to Boulder with an event on December 9th, according to the group. The group--originally started in Southern California by Jason Calacanis-last ran an event in Boulder in February. The new event is being managed by David Cohen of TechStars, which also tied with the group in a Seattle event earlier in November. The Open Angel Forum is looking to battle "pay to pitch" angel investment groups with their events, which are free to entrepreneurs; the group also has been trying to be selective with its investors, saying them must have made at least 4 angel investments in the last 12 months in order to attend.
