Open Angel Forum Heads To Colorado
The Open Angel Forum, a new angel investment group started by Internet celebrity Jason Calacanis, is expanding into Colorado in an effort headed by TechStars David Cohen. According to Cohen, one of the founders of the TechStars business incubator, he is heading up a new, Colorado arm of Calacanis' Open Angel Forum. The forum was created by Calacanis as a response to many, "pay-to-pitch" angel groups which require entrepreneurs to pay to pitch their investment opportunity. Cohen said in a blog post that the Colorado event will be held on February 3rd, and will offer 5 companies a chance to pitch to 10-15 angel investors.
