Mersive Sees New Funding
Denver-based Mersive Technologies, a developer of software for managing multiple projection displays into a single, seamless image, said this morning that it has raised a new round of funding. Amount of the funding was not disclosed, but came from Adena Ventures and Hopewell Ventures. Mersive said the new funding will go towards growth in various markets, including consumer packaged goods, oil and gas, and product engineering. Mersive's software automatically aligns and calibrates multiple high resolution projector images to create a single, seamless, very high resolution display. Mersive is headed by Rob Balgley, who was most recently CEO of SkyeTek, and also was head of Jabber.
