ViaWest Hires VP
Denver-based managed IT services and colocation firm ViaWest said this week that it has named a new VP. The firm said Tuesday that it has hired Bob Newman as Senior Vice President of Service Delivery. Newman joins the firm from the LDS Church in Salt Lake City, where he was General Manager of Global Operations and Infrastructure Services. He also has served at Infocrossing and (i)Structure. ViaWest said Newman will oversee all of the firm's operational aspects including provisioning, business controls, quality assurance, internal systems, customer support, and product development.
