Ancestry.com Raises $100M In IPO
Provo, Utah-based Ancestry.com raised $100M in its IPO Wednesday afternoon, after pricing its stock at $13.50 per share late Wednesday. The firm had estimated pricing at between $12.50 to $14.50 per share. Ancestry.com, which operates an online site for genealogy research, listed on the Nasdaq as ACOM, and was trading up around $14.90 in morning trading Thursday. The IPO was underwritten by Morgan Stanley, BofA Merrill Lynch, Jeffries & Company, Piper Jaffray, and BMO Capital Markets.
