Ancestry.com Adds DNA Testing
Provo, Utah-based online genealogy resource Ancestry.com revealed Tuesday that it has debuted a new service that will allow its customers to trace their family history by testing their DNA online. Called DNA Ancestry, the new offering combines a cheek-swab DNA test with Ancestry.com's database of 5 billion names. Ancestry.com is linking with Sorenson Genomics to provide the DNA test results. Launched in 1997, Ancestry.com is headquartered in Provo, Utah.
