Boulder Ventures Gets Exit In Everest Software
Venture capital firm Boulder Ventures has scored an exit for one of its portfolio firms, Everest Software, which was acquired Friday. Everest Software, a developer of business operations software for small and mid-sized companies based in Virginia, was acquired by Versata, a software firm based in Texas. Everest was venture backed by Boulder Ventures, along with other venture investors, with Boulder Ventures' Andrew Jones sitting on the board of directors of Everest. Boulder Ventures' web site notes that Tim Guleri led the firm's involvement in Everest, which was formerly known as iCode.
