Tempe, Arizona-based content delivery network provider
Limelight Networks announced today that it has acquired Kiptronic, a provider of content delivery optimization and monetization technology. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, however, Limelight said the deal included a combination of its common stock and cash. Kiptronic develops tools which help content publishers to serve up video ads to mobile or other devices, and serves customers such as NPR, FOX, The Guardian, Conde Nast, and The Economist.
