Google Bolsters Sets Boulder Teacher Event
Search engine giant Google said today that the firm has opened up applications for the firm's Google Teacher Academy, a one-day event which helps teachers learn about "innovative technology" from Google for use in the classroom. According to Google, the event will take place at the firm's Boulder, Colorado offices in August. Google said the effort, a free professional development experience for teachers, is targeted at K-12 educators who want to share what they learn with other K-12 educators in their local region.
