Firm Opens Arizona Data Center
A Michigan-based subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, T-Systems, said today that it is opening up a new, 34,655-square foot data center in Tempe, Arizona, as part of the company's global expansion plans, to help serve the information technology needs of an major wireless broadband network provider. T-Systems, which is based in Rochester Hills, Mich., said the new facility is the firm's ninth in North America. The firm said it worked with Digital Realty Trust on the space. Digital Realty Trust owns, acquires, and manages technology real estate for companies, including building and developing datacenters.
