Azo Studios Target Video Game Market
Phoenix-based Azo Studios said today that it has launched its firm, focused on developing video game titles and middleware solutions for console systems, personal computers, and handheld devices. The firm said it was founded by Nick Koziupa, Brian Westergaard, and Dave Eberly, described by the company as video game industry veterans. The firm said that Eberly was the chief architect of the NetImmerse game engine, which became Gamebryo. Gamebryo is a heavily used engine for video game titles, and is owned by Emergent Game Technologies.
