Backflip Studios Launches DragonVale World
Boulder-based mobile game developer Backflip Studios said today that it has released DragonVale World, a new, 3D mobile game for iOS and Android. The new title is a sequel to Backflip's original DragonVale game, which was released five years ago. The new title is free for download, but includes in-game purchases. Backflip says the new title requires a Wi-Fi connection in order to play. Backflip Studios is run by CEO Julian Farrior, and is owned by Hasbro, which acquired a majority stake in Backflip back in 2013.
