Aerospace Incubator Gets First Tenant
Golden, Colorado-based 8th Continent, the aerospace-focused business incubation project at the Colorado School of Mines, said Thursday that it has signed up its first tenant. According to 8th Continent, flaik, an Australian startup focused on developing technology for tracking skiers via satellite, has joined the incubator. 8th Continent said that flaik has contracts with Steamboat and Copper Mountain. 8th Continent is funded by the Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) and Colorado School of Mines.
