Spectranetics Appoints Exec
Spectranetics Corp., a manufacturer of excimer lasers for cardiovascular surgery, reported Monday that it has hired Michael J. Voss as vice president and general manager of its vascular intervention business. Spectranetics described Voss as possessing more than 15 years of experience in the medical device industry. Before joining the Colorado Springs, Colo.-based company, Voss was global vice president of marketing for CR Bard's Bard Access Systems. Before that, he held several leadership positions at Cordis, a Johnson & Johnson company, including division sales manager and director of marketing for coronary stents. A U.S. Army veteran, Voss has also held management positions with Boston Scientific Corp.
