NewsGator Ties With Washington Post, Newsweek On Elections App
Denver, Colorado-based NewsGator Technologies said today that it has teamed with the washingtonpost.com and Newsweek to roll out a new application to track 2008 candidates and elections. The firm said its Campaign Tracker is a free application for Microsoft Windows Mobile phones, and will provide up-to-the-minute portable coverage of political content from washingtonpost.com and Newsweek. Financial details on the win were not disclosed. The publications are using NewsGator's mobile reader, and its Editor's Desk software to manage RSS feeds to the mobile application.
