Venafi Ties Into SafeNet
Sandy, Utah-based Venafi, a venture backed provider of encryption management systems, said Thursday that the firm has added support for Safenet Luna SA, a Ethernet-attached hardware key security device. Venafi said that the support extends options available for its customer for cryptographic key storage. SafeNet's hardware is used for key management and cryptogrpahic acceleration for ATM machines and corporate servers. Venafi is a provider of software used for managing encryption and cryptographic keys. The firm is owned by private equity firm Vector Capital.
