Fluensee Sells Mobitrac
Englewood, Colorado-based Fluensee, a developer of RFID tracking and management software, has sold its Mobitrac fleet management business to Canadian firm Descartes Systems Group. Descartes Systems announced the deal Thursday, saying it pay $650,000 in cash for the assets. Fluensee purchased Mobitrac in September of 2006. According to Descartes, the transaction also acquire software-as-a-service routing and scheduling technology from Fluensee. Fluensee is venture backed by DFJ Mercury Venture Partners and IllinoisVENTURES.
