Avnet Acquires YEL Electronics
Phoenix, Arizona-based electronics distributor Avnet said this morning that it has acquired YEL Electronics Hong Kong Ltd., a distriubtor of electronics components in the Asia region. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, however Avnet said that YEL had approximately US $200M in revenues for the twelve months ended December 2007. YEL Electronics distributes interconnect, passive, electromechanical and some semiconductor components in the Asia region.
