OpenLogic Debuts Open-Source Management Tool
OpenLogic Inc., a developer of open-source software management applications, revealed Monday that it has launched a software-as-a-service that will help enterprises source and manage their open-source software. The Broomfield, Colorado-based company said its OpenLogic Exchange—OLEX for short—Enterprise Edition functions as a centralized open-source repository that allows enterprises to streamline internal requests and approval processes, ensure compliance with open-source policies and open-source licenses, and track all open-source usage. OpenLogic noted that OLEX Enterprise Edition was developed from the firm's OpenLogic Exchange web site, where companies can locate and download open source packages certified by the company.
