OpenLogic Partners with Aegif to Expand in Japan
OpenLogic Inc., a developer of enterprise open-source software, reported Tuesday that it has expanded its presence in Japan by forming a strategic partnership with Aegif, an enterprise content management systems consulting and IT services provider. According to OpenLogic, Aegif's clients include some of Japan's largest companies. As part of the agreement, the company will use OpenLogic's open-source software to run its major open-source ECM products. OpenLogic said the software stacks needed to perform these tasks in Japan are often different than what is needed in the United States and therefore require localized support. OpenLogic added that Aegif will also use OpenLogic's Discovery application to help clients inventory open-source packages. OpenLogic is headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado and provides software used for managing open source code use in companies.
