Groople Debuts Social Travel Service
Groople, the online group travel planning and booking service, announced Monday that it has added a social-networking tool to its site that will allow users to create personalized pages to help plan and coordinate their trips. Groople said customers using the service, which is called GroopVine, will be able to make travel arrangements and book reservations. Additionally, they will be able to construct trip itineraries, create personalized URLs for those trips, upload photos and short videos, and invite others to join, the Denver-based company said. Groople is venture backed by ArrowPath, FA Technology Ventures, Vista Ventures, Fatty Tuna, and Flywheel.
