ViaWest Adds Backcountry.com As Customer
Denver, Colorado-based ViaWest, a provider of colocation and managed Internet hosting solutions, said earlier this week that it has added Backcountry.com, a Park City, Utah-based online retailer of outdoor gear and clothing, as a customer. Viawest said that the addition of Backcountry.com adds to the firm's current list of more than 200 businesses which it serves in Utah. Viawest recently opened a new data center in Salt Lake City. ViaWest is a provider of colocation and internet connectivity, which is used by companies to house and connect their web servers. Backcountry.com runs Backcountry.com, BackcountryOutlet,com, DogFunk.com, Tramdock.com, SteepandCheap.com and WhiskeyMilitia.com, all of which offer outdoor goods and clothing.
