BaroFold Raises $12M
Boulder, Colorado-based BaroFold has raised $12M in a private placement, the company said today, in a Series A round from HBM BioVentures (Cayman) Ltd. and Boulder Ventures. The round also includes investments from the Peierls Foundation and other investors. BaroFold is developing protein therapeutics technology targeted at treatment of multiple sclerosis and other conditions. BaroFold's chairman and Boulder Ventures managing member Kyle Lefkoff said that the proceeds from the financing will go towards funding additional development of the firm's therapeutics pipeline.
