StarTek Appoints Pontious as CIO
StarTek Inc., a business-process outsourcing and optimization services provider, has named Douglas Pontious its chief information officer, the Denver-based firm revealed Monday. Pontious comes to StarTek from SITEL Corp., where he served first as president of the company's General Motors business unit and most recently as global chief technical officer. Prior to SITEL, Pontious worked as global systems architecture manager for Ford Motor Company. Founded in 1987, StarTek specializes in providing customer service and technical support to the communications industry.
