Liberty Media Buys Stake In GoPets
Englewood, Colorado-based Liberty Media has invested in Seoul, Korea-based GoPets, according to the firms. GoPets develops a virtual world of interactive 3D pets. Terms of the investment were not disclosed. According to Liberty, GoPets will collaborate with other Liberty Media firms such as Fun Technologies and GSN. Other investors in GoPets include Tencent Holdings Limited and Nexon Corporation. GoPets service has virtual pets that travel between websites and members of the firm's online services.
