Tendril Gets $5.25M
Denver, Colorado-based Tendril has raised a second round of venture funding, saying this morning that is has raised $5.25M in venture funding. The new round of funding came from Vista Ventures, along with existing investors Access Venture Partners, Appian Ventures, and angel investors. Tendril is developing network software for deplying wireless sensors. Tendril said that it would use the funding to expand its customer base in markets such as industrial control and building automation. The firm also said that it would add Adrian Tuck as CEO of the firm. Tuck joins the firm from Ember.
