WisperTel Gets $2M
Denver, Colorado-based Wisper Telecommunications has received $2M in financing, the company said today. WisperTel said that the funding came from a private Denver investment group. The name of the investment group was not disclosed. Wisper said that it would use the funding to expand its service area and better serve its subscribers. WisperTel is a provider of broadband Internet access, including ADSL and VoIP phone services to the Denver market. The company focuses on underserved bedroom communities.
