Motorola Joins New Telecom Interoperability Group
Tempe-based Motorola's Embedded Communications Computing group has joined with Artesyn Technologies, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, HP, Kontron, MontaVista Software, Nortel Networks and Wind River in a new, interoperability group for the telecommunications industry. Motorola has joined as a founding sponsor of the new Communications Platforms Trade Association (CP-TA), which is focused on open standards-based communications platforms. The new industry group is looking to ensure interoperability between hardware and software products in the telecommunications industry, initially focusing on ATCA technology and systems.
