DigitalGlobe Inks $12M Contract
Longmont, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe has inked a $12M contract with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the firm reported yesterday. DigitalGlobe said that it has been awarded a ClearView contract which allows the NGA to acquire commercial imagery from DigitalGlobe's QuickBird satellite. The contract is in addition to contracts the firm has inked with the NGA, the most recent being a $24M contract in January of this year. DigitalGlobe provides commercial satellite images for imaging and geospatial information uses, and supplies high resolution images to both the government and the commercial sector.
