Agilent Buys Molecular Imaging
Agilent Technologies has acquired Tempe Arizona-based Molecular Imaging Corp., a maker of nanotechnology measurement tools. Financial terms were not disclosed. Molecular Imaging develops atomic force microscopes used by researchers working in the nanotechnology field. Agilent said that it has no plans to move the company from the Tempe area. Molecular Imaging is based on research developed by Professor Stuart Lindsay and Dr. Tianwei Jing from Arizona State University.
