Zayo Wins FiberTower

Louisville, Colorado-based Zayo Group has scored a long term, fiber network deal with wireless backhaul services firm FiberTower, FiberTower said Friday. According to FiberTower, the two companies are in a multi-year agreement, where Zayo will lease 2,500 miles of dark fiber to the company. Financial details of the win was not disclosed. FibreTower said that Zayo Fiber Solutions, the dark fiber business unit of Zayo, will also build fiber to off-net sites for the company.
