Zayo Boosts Ethernet Backbone Speed

Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo Group said today that it has upgraded its Ethernet Backbone speeds to 100 Gigabits per second. The company said it will initially roll out the 100G support in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Jose, Seattle, New York, Washington, D.C., Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and Paris, offering up 100G capable points of presence. The company said the upgrade comes due to need to support the growing bandwidth need of its customers.
