X-IO Wins Travel Insurance Customer

Colorado Springs-based X-IO, the developer of enterprise storage products, reported a win this morning with a travel insurance provider, Seven Corners. According to the company, it helped with its "emergency response program" to help solve major performance issues at the travel insurance company. Size and financial impact of the deal was not announced. X-IO said its systems replaced a legacy storage environment which was reaching maximum capacity, and that it scored the win over such competitors as EMC and NetApp.
