X-IO Shuffles Executives, Appoints New CEO

Colorado Springs-based X-IO Technologies, which develops data storage products, is in a big shuffling of its executive staff, saying today that it has appointed former venture capitalist Brian Owen as the company's new CEO, and made a few other changes. The company said that its former CEO, John Beletic, has shifted to the chairman spot at the company, and that it has named David Gustavsson as Chief Operating Officer and Gavin McLAughlin as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. Owen was most recently general partner at Masthead Venture Partners; he also was CEO of MapInfo, and served at Computer Associates and Oracle.
