WOW! Plans 1 Gbps Internet In Five New Markets

Denver-based broadband provider WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone is expanding the reach of its high speed, 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) service across five new markets, saying that it is planning to add the high speed service to Huntsville and Auburn, AL; Evansville, IN; Knoxville, TN; and Grosse Pointe Shores, MI, all by the end of 2016. The customers in Alabama will be the first to receive the upgraded speeds, which are part of a fiber-to-the-home build out for WOW. WOW did not say what it will charge for the much faster speed service.
