Wilson Electronics Targets M2M Market

St. George, Utah-based Wilson Electronics, the maker of cell phone boosters, said this week that it has expanded into the machine-to-machine (M2M) market with a new business unit. The firm said the unit will focus on system integrators and device manufacturers serving the wireless M2M market. The M2M market focuses on the use of cell phone networks to connect equipment, rather than people, to other equipment and devices. Wilson Electronics said Bria Allred will head its new M2M group; Allred previously was at Symantec, and also worked at Larson Davis.
