Wilson Electronics Signal Booster Aimed At M2M Market

St. George, Utah-based Wilson Electronics, which develops cell phone signal boosters, said today that it has launched a new product aimed at the M2M (machine-to-machine) market. The firm's boosters are typically used to boost cell phone reception in remote areas with spotty cell coverage. The company said its new High power Direct Connect signal boosters are aimed at cellular modems operating on GSM or similar technology in remote locations. The product is intended to connect equipment in M2M networks with cell networks via an external antenna.
